hey guys - currently working on the models, but to give you a little outlaying concept read the following:

Rockets anyone? I'll be making the nose (the craft itself) in an hour or so after I get back from the mall.

Great job so far. Luv the lighting on rocket 1. Have you considered doing a night-time launch?

alright time for bed Here you go though:

The NOSE of the craft is the RV while the rest is the lander and life support system. The nose you saw earlier in the thread is the "cover" for the lander, it's boosted away after rocket reaches space.

next comes the uber-detailed high res textures for this lander That'll be fun!

Hello sir; I'm using 3ds max 6. Now for the earth and the moon mesh (yes! mesh)
