.png format and fusion

Greeting fusion users.

Are there any known issues with using the
.png format with fusion as loaders?

We are currently using tga's for everything..
however png is also a lossless compression format, and much much smaller in certain instances.

My question is, does fusion process slower when using the png32 format over the tga32 format.

so far I havn't seen a difference.

thanks
pete
