This is great, Ken! Now, I get to go first rather than being buried at the bottom of the stack at 'Osity! Very impressive job on the water here and nice touch with the gal on the beach lending a sense of scale to this render!

Hi Ken...
Fantastic realism in this picture... The only criticism is that the shadows seems wrong to me. If I look at the sunlight direction, it cames from the right... that's ok with the sky alpha... but I don't understand the casted shadow of the guy on the sail of the boat. Light seems to come from the left ... May be you use an additional light at this point ??? Anyway a great picture...

Right you are Patrick and thanks. The sail required a light which causes the shadow and another lightis indeed needed to make the shadow go away. I have reloaded the image with the fix needed to remove that shadow. Thanks again!

Smile Well done, Ken!

Love this image! The new functions in Vue really improve the creation of multiple objects such as forests and this is a very cool example of that. It's a wonderful render!

Vue Clouds?

Were the clouds generated in Vue?
  03 March 2005
The render time was 3 hours. The clouds are an alpha plane. Thanks for looking.
