Straight lines

I'm missing the shift+click with the brush feature in PS where you can draw straight lines for example to make a quick one point perspective setup.

In Painter the closest thing I've found is the Brush Line Command (hitting 'V') but you have to exit and re-enter the tool to make separate lines which is inefficient.. any tips? (I know you can draw straight lines by holding SHIFT but these are restrained to rectilinear and 45 deg. angles)

Another thing.. when I create a new doc it fits on screen but I want default to be actual pixels!

Yep the straight line tool needs work.

Hit V then B and then V .. this will allow u to turn it off and on.

No you don't have to hit "b" if you want to continue with the same tool. If you want to start another seperate line, just hit "v" again, and there you have it.
It's in the manual, btw.

THat is excellent news Petri! thanks!

this is actually much better than photoshop's shift click since you can ghost the line before laying down the stroke!
