Model 2005

Hey Guys!

I'm new to CG, but i've decided to make a model and to do some animation before I get into the big budget stuff. This is acutally the second model i've made, the first one was nearly compeltely the same but didn't have any feet and was a bright blue.
Crits welcome, but bear in mind i'm only 13! *I have got an Walk Cycle Animation but I dont know how I can upload it. Do you know any place I can Host?

Thumbs up

Thats cool, its simple but it look like that guy sybol on the guy's washroom doors, so i like it. It probably won't matter but just so you know you can make that guy with a lot less polygons, since its not a detailed character it can be pretty low ploy. Even if the screen shots u look have the character smoothed, its prob still a little much, it woud be easier to weight for you if it had less polygons too. Dont worry about it though like you said your're 13 and thats your 2nd model, so defenately not a big issue.. have fun animating him.

the washroom door man was the kind of thing I was going for with the first model. I'm gald someone noticed.
I can give it less polys but when I do it dosn't look nearly as good and smooth...

Keep more Coming!!

You definitely can lower the polys. To smooth it just softened the normals and your good. Its a good start though, keep it up

I'm afraid the program I use is Blender which is ok, but I really want to use Maya. I've manged to lower the polys to a point where its not stupidly high, but still looks good...

Any ideas for hosting videos yet? I'm realy stuck...
