Lava Bridge (environment)

Hey all,

here's the result from this WIP. The setting is a fantasy-ish cave with a lava stream flowing through it. NOT the good guys' fortress. Please crit & comment.

Software: 3ds max, After Effects, Photoshop

*** UPDATE! New and darker composite:
Quicktime MOV - 10.7 MB

Cheers,
- Jonas

Wow! Very, very nice work man. I especially like the hot vibrating air from the lave-flow.

It was also nice to view it develop. Great Job.

Wow, that was great. I just think you need to speed up the camera a tad towards the end when the music gets faster. But either way, great animation, the music really brings it out more. Great Job.

Beautiful work Jussing. I thought the lava would be difficult to make but you have made it look great.

Nothing short of amazing

Hey Jussing! As you know, I've been following your WIP thread since the beginning. So seeing the final come together, I can truly say: this turned out INCREDIBLY AMAZING! The lava, the smoke, walls, demon headstone all combined w/ the sync of the music make this piece seem like it came directly from a movie/movie trailer.

Job well done!

Thank you guys, you're all too kind!

Just for kicks, here's an animation that shows the difference from previz to final...

Red face Camera

Hi...

It is a very nice piece ... However the camera, could speed up just at the end of the clip (suychronize it with music) ... Good job!

One more thing, personal feeling:

You could decrease the light intensity in the main chamber and allow lava to do its trick ...

Good luck ...

the scene is way to bright, the light should be coming from the lava
