Talking PA Challenge - Vehicle - Calle

This is my little contribution to this contest. it's only the beginning of the bottom so it's a heavy lack of detail bla bla bla. hope you like it.

This "little" warfare unit uses the Minovsky particles found in Gundam. Minovsky particles absorb waves in the longer spectrum, thus absorbing radio and radar waves, but not lasers or visible light. A device was made allowing ships to create a cloud of these particles around them, thus making them invisible to radar. Long range warfare became obsolete almost overnight.

from the looks it is going to be quite a heavy vehicle. very nice details!
(add some ridges and grooves to the tires, gives it a lot =)

Argh. It took me some ten hours or so to find out a design for the body. Anyway, it's the basic look.

And No. It's not a gocart. :P

Yes it's its quite large. The Gundam mechs inspire me. tnx about the details. I will add plenty more of them but I can't find out any way to make the ridges in the tires. gah. i guess my comp is kinda slow too. :/

I really dig that body shape, it just seems kinda little for the strength of the suspension system you've got (wich rocks! Of course the future details, nurnies, greeblies, etc..will greatly help with a sense of scale and mass.

Error323: I want more like these tires so i guess bumpmapping won't work. But I'll probably learn to do it with geometry because I'm pretty new at maya.

its pretty easy
just split the wheels in the center...rotate the center edgeloop and extrude every second face.

heres a fast example.
