Z-deph fog

I just wondering if there's a possibility to create a fog effects based on Z-deph in Shake? I remember I saw such thing somewhere...

you can use a "compress" node driven with a zdepth file.

i agree although I generally note the following occours as you get further from camera :

1) image degrades and is defcoused
2) saturation is reduced
3)contrast is reduced
4) objects fog and take on envrinmental hues
5) for day objects become slightly brighter as aresult of 4 at night darker !

for this reason I would recommend applying a depth treatment using a series of nodes and keymixing the result using you depth matte !
