Talking Lip Sync Animation Critique..please

HI.
It's my first post..yapee~
I have done lip sync for my demo reel credit.
I'm wishing to pull the quality up to production quality..
There are some poses I do not like..But I let you decide them..

Please feel free to give me a lot of critiques..
I'm really open for it.

please have a look by "Save As"

HI. It is off to a great start. After he says think I almost want to see his lips stay closed for a sec but it looks like it is just the modle/style character that does not put his lips together except when pronounceing certain syalbles. At the end there is almost to much movement after he is finished talking. You may want to move the camera down a little to have the character take up a little more of the shot.
I would also try to put up a smaller version and mentions that it is a 22 mb download so people know how much they are about to download.
Nice work.

I do agree...

Thank you for the critiques..
I strongly agree with that last movement.
Guess I was too tired to looking at it..yesterday..since I've been working whole day..to finish it up by deadline..
Now I see it clearly..

I'll fix what you have said...

oh..by the way...the mouth doesn't close as i wanted...so..

Talking

Hey, "Simon Mills"~
Nice to meet you here..
Sorry about the name..I'll fix it..soon

Thanks to you...We get to animate a cool character...
I love the alien dude..so much..
The rigging part was quite complicated..but I figure out most of stuff..
Except the bone wasn't named at all~~~! heehehehe..
I guess you were lazy..? or has been modified somehow..

It was little harsh to animate until I figure out the limit for this character..
After then..it's working great~!!

I just heard more critiques from Magic..
So I got to fix them...I'll be updating soon..

Hope to see you often..

Hi, yeah.

I am no expert on animation but it looks like the timing is slightly out on the voice. When he says *YOU HAVE TO*, just at that point. Also an adams apple gulp would be cool to see

I completely agree with what everyone has said. I just a have a general question about the rig. It's pretty sweet and I was wondering where you got it... is it public? did you make it? Etc. etc... thanks

Hello, mikeyb3

As Syeko said...
This model was made by Syeko (Simon Mills) who was a outstanding vfs student for his own modelling(& animation) Demo reel.
It was one of my most admirable demo reel from VFS.

I'm currently studying at VFS.
Simon Mills was kind enough to provide his model for student, who are half way through the course, to work on VERY WELL MADE CHARACTER.

So that animators can practice with a PERFECT character that is ready to use..
Unfortunately, I do not have an authorization to provide model to animators..
even though it is sweet model to work with..
