about difference keying..

Can we use difference keying method on a telecine fotage ? I ask this question cause film has a natural grain and grain can change pixels color values even they are same coordinat in sequenced frames. so in this situation can we use difference keying method ? if we can, why difference keying algorithm can works properly even pixels changing their color data. ( I talk about backdround pixels, not foregorund..)

my second question is about using difference keying algorithm with motion control camera outputs. so there must be a little pixel pans in sequence shots. cause motion control camera has a motion-machine and machines can be influenced from environment stuations or inner mechanism errors, like a little wheel can be slide one more thick so thats can change the camera direction one shot to another..so if this errors are natural again how difference keying algorithm can works properly even pixels sliding a little from one take to another..

thanks already,
hope I explain my questions properly with my bad english..
