oh boy, I can feel it in my bones . . . this is going to be a good one!!

Fantastic drawings so far, I can't wait for the colors, it's going to be great!! However, right now, I am not to sure how this thing is flying. I get the feeling the creature is dead, but at the same time, they pinned him up and used him as a float to fly. But, if the creature is dead, how is he flapping his wings?? Unless. . . it's magical, then it makes sense Otherwise, keep up the good work.

Thanks all for the postitive feedback once again!

wildsheepchase: Thanks! The final image and a couple of desings (all still to come) will be in full colour.

m@, derelict, art7sayan, fellah and Sleepless: Thanks for the great support, this is the reason why I always try to find the time to participate and deliver in time

jeroentje: I'll do it, thanks for the crit!

Apt Pupil: First of, thanks for the compliment! The idea is based on the way how big birds like eagles fly or even hang-gliders move, they don't flap their wings.. they just glide. There's a small image in the below image that shows how the take off happens.

Here's the image, I made some designs of the pilots (the big guy is there to flap the wings (by pulling the rope, it's attached to the wings) in dangerous situations, the other guy is the navigator).. the actual flying "machine" is almost designed and I've already started doing some final material.

Thanks for the comments JFrench and Gamoron!

Here's the final designs, I tried to keep these as simple as I could:

Didn't like this as much, I think the first image has more potential.. or maybe I just prefer backlit images hehe:

I'll post the final in a couple of hours.. stay tuned

Here it is:

And a close up to reveal the lost details:

I still might refine this, some areas were really rushed..
