adding your own icons?

one thing that has me puzzled is whether or no you have the ability to add your own icons to tools you have added into new tabs in the modo tools panel, i have worked out how to add new tabs to the modo tools panel and how to add sub menus with tools in there ie...i have added a group named (selection) along with the standard (deform)(duplicate)(mesh edit) etc..and am adding all the tools in like edge loop etc.. but would like some icons with the tools instead of just text on the buttons, so i want to create an icon set for the selection tools and add them to the ui , any ideas if this is possible? if so then how? there must be a way of manually pasting in some info into the config file or something !
