Question filter adjustment layer?

Hi,

is it possible to create a filter adjustment layer?

for example a blur layer that affects everything behind it.

I would like to do that to keep the original image untouched and avoid flatening the image.

It would also give the advantage of using masks and being able to modify the parameters whenever I like.

Thanks!

A filter adjustment layer and being able to modify the parameters of the filter that was used? Forget it, not possible.

It was rumored to be in CS, but that just turned out to be the filter Gallery. It would be a cool idea though, if pulled of properly.
