Unhappy Anybody want to discuss color theory?...since I'm not too good at it...

What would you do to make something like this 'pop'? I drew this, but I don't claim to be a colorist, marginal artist at best.
Here's a useful software for color theory....has color wheel and everything.
I'm planning on going here, so I guess this thread will be an introduction to what I should expect.

Nice drawing, I like it a lot.

Here's a color theory site I like. Should give you some ideas. Don't miss the Continue> button at bottom.

I like it a lot too. It is very monochromatic. I would try some complimentary colors maybe.

To really make it pop I think its more a value issue. If you establish a really defined light, shadow and midtone range in your colours its gonna make it really come to life, at least thats what I'd try first. Kinda feels a bit flat at the moment, but maybe thats what you were going for. As far as colour theory in general, if you're up for buying a book the Muncell colour theory book is what I used in school, and i've been told its one of the standard color theory texts available. Might be worth looking up on amazon used, the charts in it alone make for good reference when you're just trying to pick colour combinations. Hope that helped at all.
