Machine gun tracer fire in DF?

Can you create tracer fire in DF? If not, what app does it best? AFX? , LW?

Thanks

Yeah, use a particle system. Take a look at the eyeon site, as they have a number of tutorials for particles there. Once you learn the basics of how they work, it would be trivial to set up tracer fire.

Another option would be the wondertouch particle system, as I believe it has a preset for tracer fire.
