Modeling Nina

Started to model Nina Williams from Tekken4 , this is just my 2nd meshsmoothed model .
Took me 2 days to model this . and thx to Blaize for helping me on this one . c+c would be wery appreciated . gonna start the work on the body this week ... might take me a bit longer than the head thought

thats really nice may i ask how you learned to model heads so well, im currently stuck on modeling near the nose and mouth regions.

This is coming along nicely, i'm not 100 percent familiar with the character, but you might want to look at narrowing the nose, and the neck as well. This will give the face a more feminine look. Just a suggestion.

Looking good so far, keep going!

Yeah i am willing to hear every suggestion possible , yes i l do that . thank you
and yeah i m gonna do this character completely , but might take me a wile.

i just follow my ref as hard as i can , but also always look at the bone structure of the scull.
i just imagine all together and model it

She looks pretty cool. I'm thinking that she sorta looks more asian than white though. hmmmmmmmmm nina is the white chick who was frozen...................right?
What program did you use?

Yes , she was frozen for 15 years , and used as a test subject , strange thought that in every tekken she looks different , well i m doing from Tekken4 , she look hit there .

i am using 3Dsmax5

Very nice progress.

I think the nose is realy spoiling the Nina image. . Her face details are alot slender . .especialy the Neck region . . .She is looking abit more like Anna than Nina . .thats what first came to my mind.

Nina's eyes speak alot so i think you need to concentrate alot on getting the same results in that area. . . .

She is like a Tiger,nina . .shes fast,agile,patient....ready to pounce at the opportune moment without hesatation.

Although it is hard it is possible to portray the majourity of these characteristics in the Facial features of the model. I suggest working hard on the Head before moving on.

Great work so far...keep up the good work.

Yes , here is a update, i fixed some head proportions and got rid of those eyes . Gonna make new one soon . Yeah i am gonna work hard on it .
all thats left now is :

  • Some more fixes
  • Make the hair - gonna use ShangHair or Ornatrix plugin
  • and start my work on the body after the head is 100% done

Howdy,

well you seem to be off to a good start....but I think you should thin the neck reduce the cheeks and maybe lengthen the forehead a little. But I don't much about brith'in babies.

Yes , those are nice references , but the 2nd one is a old version "Tekken3" In Tekken4 they totaly remade her not just the outfit , but the looks 2

here is a new update , i fixed many things .

Here is another update , fixed some things on the face . Nose , lips etc ... . And added eyes now . Eyes texture 1000x1000 . Only thing made the render 2 bright so the eyes dont show up the red strikes on them like people have .

Nice model but I'd follow MASTERSHOKHAN's advice and pull those cheekbones back into her face a bit. They make her look a little animal like. Compare the side of the nose in the first pic lithik posted to your three quarter view. You might notice what I'm on about.

Otherwise it looks like you're on the right track. Good work.
