Wrap deformer BIG STRESSY PROBLEM...PLS HELP!

I'm in a super rush cause i am about to finish this trailer i started and a big problem came before rendering:

I got my character skinned with smooth bind and i duplicate a part of his face where i applied some fur for a barb and also for a moustache. Then i wrap the duplicated face to the face and everything was ok until the character bend the head (actually the neck )in the back ... the wrap deformer is not staying in his place and translate a few from the face.
What would you recommend ?

i also mention that my character's face and the wraps (barb & moustache )are polysmoothed before wrap.

is the wrap still in history?
that could be a problem but not definatly.

you should apply the wrap BEFORE the poly smooth.

also because you are duplicating some of the mesh, the verts will be in exactly the same place, which is good so make sure you wrap is set to a max distance of verry small (i think 0.001 is the smallest it will allow) this will calculate much faster, and better.

...

Ok, so the wrap thing look really really good in lowpoly mode, the movement is sweet but when i smooth them the wrap is no longer active, it stays still.
I tryed differrent ways like smooth only the geometry of the face, i tryed also smoothing all the three surfaces (barb, moustache, face)

This will be the end of me....

oops, sorry didnt really think that through... your smoothing the mesh that you are wrapping too.......
which is the problem.

smooth the skin, then duplicate the bits you want, then wrap them, and NEVER edit the smooth.

you should still be able to have a really small max distance, which will be quick and use minimal RAM (for a wrap)

if you want a low poly for animation, use a separate mesh (duplicate before smooth)
