book covers - environment concepts

been a while since my last posts. i wanted to share these few artworks with you.

concept inspired by the game i'm working on right now.

book covers for jack vance emphyrio

done for another jack vance novel

double cover for the french release of donald kingsbury's psychohistorical crisis. divide in the middle and you'll obtain two covers for the two books. (part 1 & part 2)

covers for robert silverberg's space opera

amazing work! On some places the detail isn't too high (sketchy almost) but the lighting and composition compensate for this. Stunning mood. Love this.

Breath taking scenes. All have great lighting and a sense of deapth

These are beautiful indeed!
How you can create depth with just a 'few simple brushstrokes' and correct use of colors... just amazing

My favorites are the first (because of the great lighting) and the 4th with the big planet in the background (because of the roughness whilest still giving the illusion of great detail, depth and space)
... but each and every one of them rocks!!!
