Smile Eagle - digital painting

this is my first thread on CG Talk.
I think it's my third digital painting (except some speedpaints).

Nice picture
Well eagles got feathers no fur and you might want to make the beak look a bit more shiny.
a background would also help the picture.
but it'S looking realy good.

Well, other than the very furry feathers, the eyes of all of the eagles in my copy of "Birds of Prey of the World" are quite circular. The eye color may change, but not the shape. So, depending on your point of view, you might want to make that change, or just remember it for "next time".

Very nice overall. I agree with the "fur" comments made earlier. Also, I almost see a "stripe" pattern running vertically through the beak. I would see if you couldn't break that up a little.

I like the angle and choice of composition as well. Keep em coming.
Remember the enemy of perfection, is to focus on the outcome at the expense of the process.

thanks for your comments.

I had big problems with the feathers. I made another version before the one I showed here but I wasn't really pleased ith it :\

Well here it is .. perhaps it goes more in the direction of feathers

@ keight

I will keep that in mind but perhaps i will change it. Thanks.

@ Vidar3d

I tried to perhaps it's better now. Tanks.

Sorry for my bad English.
