Concept Sketch: basic concept sketch

Some initial sketches of my concept / character. Would love to hear some feedback.

I've been through quite a few of the entries here in this forum, and I have to say that the quality of work displayed is simply awesome. The concepts are very inspirational too.

Anyway, here's my concept, for what its worth. The character is a fairy called Aria (name may yet change!), one who is known to all fairies, but only a few privileged humans. Like all the little people from the fairy world, she lives in forests, and she can choose to show herself to humans or be invisible. She is however visible to every other living thing (animals, insects, plants.) The invisibility to humans is a defence mechanism adopted by fairies for centuries. Aria, is one of the few fairies left in this world who have healing magic powers for the earth. During one of the de-forestation episodes of mankind, she was unfortunate enough to lose her wings and have un-repairable injury done to her hands. So a body armour was created for her, with mechanical wings attached, and mechanical hands were fitted onto her wrists.

Kind of strange and different concept, but I'll take it
Very original...

Cool concept~ kind of early stage, but I would try to incorporate more of the machine side. Add more wires, and make the hands and wings more obvious that is a machine operated~..
keep it up~

Unhappy mechanical parts

Hi guys:

thanks a lot for the feedback. I agree that the concept may be a little strange... I did'nt want to go with the human-robot fiction, and have always loved the fantasy genre, so thats where my inspiration came from.

young_927 and mad shooter... u guys are absoulutely right, I should attempt to put in some more mechanical parts and wires. Since this is my first attempt at anything even remotely mechanical, its proving harder than I thought! Will keep trying.
