[scene] hut wip

just something im doing to practice my modeling/texturing skills, and to learn detailed normal mapping ready to test in my brothers engine
i started tonight so only spent a few hours on it so far, need to finnish a few things and stuff also....

ok finished modeling the wheel barrow heres a render from the back....

its around 4700 triangles all up.

That stool looks pretty chunky... maybe thin out the legs a little? Or is it meant to be a low table?

question

What settings do you use to achieve the realistic lighting in mentalray? I see a lot of people do it, but for some reason I just can't emulate it.

ah its just the default scanline renderer just setup a skylight in max and it does it all for you

Good stuff... for the tree, you should use the great MaxScript called Tree Maker... find it on scriptspot.com

Here is the download page from scriptspot : http://www.scriptspot.com/download.asp?ID=870&inf=1 Showing a brief of its features. I have used it just to see, as far as I remember, you can select the braches quality, beween five definitions.
