Still: Macro Marble

No image textures at all. Bryce for modeling and rendering with photoshop lens blur post to bring out highlight in the background. The intent was to reproduce the look of a close-up photo taken with a not-so-fabulous camera


The wire is boring; It's just a sphere on a procedurally displaced plane.

well it wasn't really a modeling-intensive scene, but more focused on lighting and texturing. I'll post some more model-heavy scenes if you like. Thanks for the comment nonetheless.

The material on the ball is nice. Though I doubt that it will cast such well defined caustics in real life.
