Cute Creatures-session

hey guys. going to start a new session on cute monsters.

the whole point with this challenge will be to create a little critter that could fit into a game like final fantasy ( think enemies ).
or something like by brian froud, or digimon.. etc.

the rules are:

1.)you have 4 hours to work on it.

2.)2 hours into working, you have to post your progress.
as well as your finished piece

3.)has to be related to the topic.

heres an idea of what were thinking about.

good luck to everyone.! ( if anyone enters )

This was made in XSI 3.5 and textuerd with photoshop. The modeling didn't take to long as its a pretty simple character design. This is also the first time I've experimented with using displacment maps on a character.
Here is screen shot from about 1 1/2 hours in.

And here is the final product. Time to finish: 3 1/4 hours.

Injoy.

Here's my 2 hour progress (in Cinema4D):

Am I allowed to finish the other 2 hours after I get some sleep?
