Game Art Comp 6: Marlon Brando / The godfather

hey there, i'm new kinda new to cgtalk so be nice

Well i'm doing Vito corleone, played by Marlon Brando.

i've done the head model now and trying to texture it.
pics will be here soon.

for the ones who dont know vito corleone ( shame on you ), here are some pics:

well here's the first update.



i've made the texture myself except for the side of the head ( the ear and hairline ) i used a photo for that but i'll paint the myself when i move along.

the nose is kinda ****ed but i'll fix that asap.
BTW this is the low poly mesh whith meshsmooth.

i uploaded the wrong pic but you can still give critz ( please do :( )

I see a great resemblance on the face...especially with that texture on , it really boosts the model. There are some things though that can be improved, in my opinion:
The nose, as you mentioned
The mouth seems a bit to large on the front view, maybe stretch a little smaller,
The ear seems problematic too, don't know if it is the texture or the model...

The overall look is definetely godfather!! Keep it up

thanks, glad you like it.

the problem of the ear is mainly the texture, it had bin stretched way to much.

I've fixed the mouth and later today i'll post some pics whith the fixed ear.
