Concept Sketch: worker's

This is the first set of concepts that I have done, they’re not the finalized yet, this mosquito like creature is only the worker’s for the larger one that I have yet to post, and with out the workers the other creature will not survive. (Ill post it soon). Oh and godd luck to all.

Concept Sketch: Mother

This is what the mosquito is working for, the “Mother” they go out and feed, gathering blood and other juices,
Near the end of the Mother (I don’t have a name yet) they’re tubs, so the workers can inject the juice, to help feed the new born that are still in side the sack. Ill have more concepts before I start the 3d model

Eupee, nope not really, other then burring ant’s lol , oh man I was mean…

Oh just for the record I plan on doing low poly, not sure if that is a good idea for this contest but I do want to build my portfolio of low poly models so it can help me get in the game industry. Right now I do set designs for a movie company part time, its great and all but I really what that game job, just like so many of us out there, not sure how low poly, but im thinking of 3,ooo or 4, ooo. What would you guys think, would that still be low poly compared to today’s games, that’s what I’m thinking anyways.

or how about this Q, what would a game company look for in poly count? if any one wants to answer that i would be very great full, if not thats cool to anyways im working on the 3d models now.

I don’t really have a story yet. So forgive if what you see dose not make much since, but the idea that I have will be one large creature that will not be able to get food for its self, its job is to sit there and lay eggs. The mosquito like creature that comes out of the eggs, there job is to go out and gather food.
Not sure if that’s a good idea or not, I am still very unsure what I think about this, My goal is to have a concept done by this Monday, then start modeling, (it my computer can handle this) but I may go with another idea that I have, errr…………. What do some of you guys think? Should I just start over?
