Concept Sketch: Stilt Leggs

Prelude: One night when I was driving home from work I was listening to "Coast to Coast Live" with Art Bell. The guest was a guy that did remote viewing. He viewed the final days of humanity and his description stuck in my mind(he said it would come to pass in 2040, within my lifetime!).
Specifically he stated there would be so many flies they would block out the sun, the sound would be deafening. There would be only fungus from all the rot. Oxygen would be scarce and the remaining people would live by the ocean to harves oxygen from algae.

SO, the upgrade to humanity would be leggs that could elevate them above the fly clouds. sensors at the legg ends would prevent misteps. These would have to be grafted onto the body with the sensors connected to the spinal cord and a metal cradel attached to the pelvis. The length can be folded and telescoped in, but the spider like leggs will allways be seen.
