Wow there are a lot of people entering this challenge (including some of the best CGTalk artists). Even though I don't stand much of a chance this should be a lot of fun. And those prizes are just too tempting. Anyway, I'm going for the more whimsical/cartoony approach with this one. I might try a darker/realistic concept in the 2D challenge assuming I can find the time. Currently my concept is that of an evil boy genius who turns himself and his pet (an evil looking animal, possibly an evil
Koala Bear???) into an formidable boy-bear-machine in an effort to take over the world. The machine parts would come from around the house (possibly futuristic). Still brainstormming in any case.

Good luck to all.
