I know that I'm a little bit late for this challenge.I hope I can finish my project until june 18. Anyway this is my story...

--------------------------The Dynamo-----------------------

In the 21st century the modern humans were confronted with their own end, the end they had prepared. In the ice age they managed to keep the few left of the race alive, they found a chance to survive the deadly cold by escaping beneath the surface. Where governments once were now clans of different cultures ruled, but for all their differences they all had one thing in common, Energy... Where heaven was closer than hell, there was a need for energy and to fight the need there was no rules. Most of the methods used in gathering energy were inhumane but the worst was in Dynamo Prison. Those prisoners that were sentenced to death were not killed, they served the communities. The service they were forced to provide would find an end with a flickering light in a tunnel or on the spin of a fan ... Yes they were used to generate electricity this wasn't done by pedaling or some other humane way, no. For these prisoners for them to be forgiven they had to work with whole hearts, with the blood turbines connected to their hearts they turned dynamos to create electricity. To keep the pressure high enough their arms and legs were removed and from where they were hung their bodies were kept on an adrenaline diet. The pills they were given forced them into a never ending sleep of horrific nightmares. Until the day their weary hearts would not answer to another shock...

-------------------------------------------------------------

And here is the sketch...

Concept Sketch: The Dynamo

In the 21st century the modern humans were confronted with their own
end, the end they
had prepared. In the ice age they managed to keep the few left of the
race alive, they found a
chance to survive the deadly cold by escaping beneath the surface.
Where governments once were
now clans of different cultures ruled, but for all their differences
they all had one thing in
common, Energy... Where heaven was closer than hell, there was a need
for energy and to fight
the need there was no rules. Most of the methods used in gathering
energy were inhumane but the
worst was in Dynamo Prison. Those prisoners that were sentenced to
death were not killed, they
served the communities. The service they were forced to provide would
find an end with a flickering
light in a tunnel or on the spin of a fan ... Yes they were used to
generate electricity this wasn't
done by pedaling or some other humane way, no. For these prisoners for
them to be forgiven they
had to work with whole hearts, with the blood turbines connected to
their hearts they turned dynamos
to create electricity. To keep the pressure high enough their arms and
legs were removed and from
where they were hung their bodies were kept on an adrenaline diet. The
pills they were given forced
them into a never ending sleep of horrific nightmares. Until the day
their weary hearts would not answer to another shock.
