Tim Albee 3Dworld Techiques
1. surfacebaked hair
http://www.worley.com/TutFiles/AlbeeShading/index.html This is one of the techiques he discussed in his article. 2. depthmap For placing characters in an environment so that forward grass is in front and rear grass stays in the back. I haven't find anything on this yet but I know he use DFX. 3. Light toning (still looking as well). Using DFX to control the light and look of his film. Nopt necessarily a DFX thing iI don't think ...I think AE could be used for this as well. Anyone got any detail info |

Lightwave depth buffer can be used for a lot of things in DFX or AE. Its a great way to do fog or DOF effects. Pretty cool stuff!
