Mechanical Rebirth, Michel Lanoie (3D)

Title: Mechanical Rebirth
Name: Michel Lanoie
Country: Canada
Software: 3ds max Photoshop VRay
Submitted: 25th June 2014

I have been working on this one for quite a while now. At long last, I am extremely proud to submit my work.

I have great appreciation for early 20th century technology. Everyday objects were massive but very reliable and much easier to repair than some of today’s hi-tech hardware.

As this is my personal technological golden era, I wanted to reflect that theme in my scene using a touch of humor.

I hope that you like it.

It's amazing as a whole, but when you start looking at all the tiny details and work that went into to it, you're completely dumbfounded.
Amazing!

Thank you for this great inspiration. As a big steampunk fan I always love things like this one.
How long did you work on this. You said a while. But how long is this?

Thanks for the feedback! I started to work on this scene three years ago, approximately. I wish I had done it faster of course, but I could only work on it on some weekends and sometimes during vacations. So that’s the main reason it took that long .

took me a while to read all the details in the scene, the color palette is just Beautiful, the floor, the robots all, very nice!
Excellent work!
Best,
R./°
