Character posing for concept
I have done mostly hard surface work over the years, but increasingly getting character requests. I would like to know if you are a concept artist working in 3dsmax, what do you use to pose your models. Do you build a complete bones rig?
I've began some tests with biped and physique, also tried CAT, both have merits although I find that weighting anything high poly to be prohibitive time wise.
So just to reiterate, how do you go about posing a 3dsmax character that is Hi-Poly for concept or for a Cinematic.
