Samurai warrior, Hasan Bajramovic (3D)

Title: Samurai warrior
Name: Hasan Bajramovic
Country: Bosnia and Herzegovina
Software: 3ds max, ZBrush

Samurai warrior image and 17 step tutorial created for 3D Artist magazine issue 58. Modeling, topology, uvs and textures done in ZBrush and rendering inside 3dsmax. I tried to showcase some of the techniques I use on a daily basis when creating characters.

Thanks for viewing!

Great modeling, lighting, shading and textures. I like the degree of details.

But the pose is imo missing some tension. He seems a bit undynamic: the legs are fine, the upper body and his right arm though are really "boring" and kind of incertain while a Samurai should show the opposite...he is ready to fight, ready to die for the principles & ethics of Samurais but at the same time he remains elegant and smooth.

Anyway, very nice work.

Hey thanks for your inputs. Pose was requested by the magazine designers and approved as such so nothing I can do there now but I hear you Really appreciate it mate!

LeeSalo : thanks mate! That would have been interesting but even as it is it was a bit hard with a tight deadline and only 17steps.

Thanks guys!

Super! Outstanding level of details!
I see strange two things:
gigantic ropes for swords and head and
flat look of horns
