problem with my first topic on the forum

Hi, I'm from France and i guess there is something i don't understand because i can't post my first thread in "latest work 2D".
I've created my portfolio page (1 image inside so far), i've read FAQ ans rules...but when i go to "latest work 2D", when i clic the button to post a new thread (which is "submit image via CG portfolio"), it leads me to manage my gallery (for my portfolio) but i can't create a thread on the forum with my image.
In the "manage my gallery" section, I see the bloc called "CG talk galleries -submitting artwork for critique on CG talk galleries" (with option to check at the end)...but i can't go beyond this point.
Beside my uploaded image, it is written "gallery status : not accepted to CGtalk gallery".
Maybe you find the image unfinished, not up to reasonable standards or with offensive nature...but i don't know.
Thanks if you could help me to understand what i didn't get

You've have one image rejected (last month) because you didn't submit it with your full, real name. You have another image which is currently awaiting validation, but it's going to be rejected too, as you didn't give it a title.

Please make sure you follow all the uploading instructions carefully and make sure that you give every image a title and a proper description, along with ensuring that your full, real name (and not your username) is submitted along with it. The reason the image needs a title is because that forms part of the forum thread's name, and the reason we need your full name is for copyright reasons.

We do not reject images for quality purposes anymore. The only reason for an image being rejected is incomplete information, or if it breaches the site's rules (ie if the image is pornographic or racist).

Thanks for your answer Leigh.
Another image awaiting ? mhhh maybe when i've tried again this afternoon to post my image again on the forum (must be the same drawing, i didn't load another).
Maybe i should delete this image and reload it on my portfolio tomorrow as full real name is written now. I will not forget title or description...hope it will be ok.

Hi Sovarog, if the problem is exactly the same i had, Leigh explained the solution
As far as i'm concerned, i deleted old image of my gallery and submitted it again (with title, full correct complete name, infos...), then i went to "manage my gallery" section and clic into the bloc called "CG talk galleries -submitting artwork for critique on CG talk galleries" (with option to check at the end). When ok, it says "accepted".

It turns out that the work is already on display. But each picture in a separate threads. I gathered all in one thread, but they do not scale now.

And two pictures "not accepted", but the information there is the same as for the other six. I do not like this system is far more complicated than the others forums. I do not want to do.

No problem. Apparently the moderator did not have time.

That's because every time you submit an image, it automatically creates a new thread for it. If you want all the images in the same thread, then you need to submit only one, and include the others in the first image's description, using IMG tags.

The only reasons for an image not being accepted is if you're missing information, if the content wasn't actually a render or painting (in your case, you submitted a bunch of wireframe images which are not acceptable) or if the content was obscene. If you simply follow the instructions and fill out all the required fields with the correct information, then you should have no issues. If you want to include wireframes, then include them in the description field for the actual render when submitting it.

Do you know how to use IMG tags?

Yes, I know how to use it. Thank you, now it's clear.
