Question Comics dotted tones render

Hye,
I'm searching for tutorials or tips to get a old comics dotted render...

for a start, find the filter "colour halftone"

Also investigate converting to a bitmap, pure b+w no grayscale. In order to convert to this type of image you'll get the option of using a 'halftone screen' which is what you refer to as 'dots'.

Here are a few short tutorials for emulating a zip-a-tone effect in Photoshop I did a while back. All will work in PS7.

Keep in mind, these are at web resolution (about 72dpi) and look a lot coarser than when used at print resolution. Hope this is useful.
