pocket watch

I am trying to render this pocket watch in a photo realistic style. It doesn't look right at the moment. The golden mechanical parts do not look golden to me. And body itself is not quite right. I am using mia_material_x for everything. The body material is set to satined metal with the texture plugged in.
I have created ao, specular and reflection passes.
I am using image based lighting along with some reflection panels.

Any tips to steer me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated!

Some outdoor scene. Like a sunny day. I don't have a big collection of HDR images... maybe I should try some indoor setting?
