using Aim constraint

so i've tried to use the aim constraint to get some eyeballs to track around my scene. but when i hook up the constraint they still don't follow the null their aimed at.

the eyes are already skinned, from Max. i wonder it this is why it doesn't work.

anyone here have experience with this?

in the end my solution was to parent the eyes to the BipHead in 3dsMax... and then while in Motionbuilder use the aim constraint.

initially i was skinning the eyes in Max and trying to use the aim constraint in MB

I am not sure of your entire set up.

But you can also parent items within MotionBuilder. Just FYI.

yes. for sure... i think i ended up doing it in max because it's so fast and easy there.

thanks for the info though!
