Talking Matte Painting Futurist City

Hi,
This is my matte finished a futuristic city, I like muhco the result .. I had tried to do before others but failed to reach an agreeable outcome.

I did 2 renders in Vue:

Nice lighting and warm feeling. Maybe the FG windows need some more integration, they're feeling a bit distracting at the moment. Good work

I agree with the FG windows, they need to reflect the actual sunset environment, and there should be a reflection fall off/fresnel as well, in real life reflections on windows are distorted by the glass, so what you need to do, is play with some noise, bump or glass distortion and give a nice believable imperfection to these windows, check out this real reference





some of these buildings should be completely dark because of the back lit effect and exposure like this reference



Perspective seems odd in some elements,
you need to work better with atmosphere and photography exposure and a nicer visual composition, it looks too cluttlered, give it some nicer balance, something interesting to look at, a focal node , take a look and follow real photo reference. hope this helps, keep it up !
