PR: Marine

Ok first I'd like to make it clear that I didn't do this. One of my buddies working on a Warcraft III total conversion did. I just wanted to share it with you because i think that it's pretty badass for the polycount (only 250 faces). They're basically converting wc3 into good ol starcraft. You can visit their website at http://revolution.wc3campaigns.com/ however it's very outdated

Everything that's red is teamcolor (obviously)

that poly count is pretty impressive.

On another issue, did you know blizzard shuts down starcraft mods and threatens legal action? Theyre a bunch of pricks

Yeah they were afraid of that but it seems they havn't run into any problems up to now, the mod is nearing completion and they've been around almost since wc3's release. They make everything from scratch and will take the sound and music directly from your starcraft install so you'll need both starcraft and wc3 to play the mod. Blizzard might actually see this as an opportunity to sell a few more starcraft copies and not do anything about it, who knows? :P

HAHA whoa

I havent posted since Siggraph this year that is ****ing awesome man, I actually met the recruiter from blizzard when I was there, I talked with him for a good 40 mins as we waited for the Electronic Theatre to start. He was really nice, but um ya I hope no legal action is taken against the team because that is shaping up very nicely and It would be a shame to watch it stop production, I have had it happen a lot and it sucks. -Jerm

They aren't bad but don't look very much like the sc marines. This guy looks almost exactly like a sc marine from wc3's perspective:

Oh and by the way, Zhenyok (the skinner) uses MSPaint and makes his skins pixel by pixel which is pretty awesome.

Here are some more shots for your viewing pleasure. These are in-game from mod ver. alpha 1.03

That's just too awesome for my eyes to take :P

I've heard about yr mod and have visited yr site some months ago and I was already impressed by what i saw. After looking at your screen shots, I'll believe if someone told me it's Blizzard's latest project.

My goodness.....I can't stop staring at the screen shots. You guys are just too damn good!!!!!!
