Convert Hair to Geometry?

I'm sorry if this is one of those issues where there's a simple solution I'm not seeing, but I'm having a bit of trouble finding information about this, so I might as well post here.

I currently have geometry instanced on a hair system, and I would like to be able to convert this instanced geometry to its own object. I found this plugin but it doesn't seem to work in 2013.

Any help would be awesome

I think you can convert hair to curve, nothing in the manual?

I think you have to apply the SaveRenderMesh to the instance geo and not the hair geo itself.
