Packt is pleased to announce the release of Mastering UDK Game Development, a perfect guide to developing and mastering UDK skills, making it possible to create a series of exciting projects all within the UDK Editor. Readers can enhance their game development skills using Scaleform, enabling them to create a 2D-style platformer, a spaceship rail-shooter, as well their very own customized HUD.

About the Author: John P. Doran is a technical game designer who has been creating games for more than 10 years. He previously worked at LucasArts on Star Wars: 1313 as a Game Design Intern. John is currently a Software Engineer at DigiPen's Singapore campus, where he tutors students on Computer Science concepts, programming, linear algebra, game design, and advanced usage of UDK, Flash, and Unity in a development environment. He has previously co-authored a book on UDK, UDK iOS Game Development Beginner's Guide.
