How can I achieve this look? (jewelry)

Hi everybody, i'm trying to achieve this look without success. I demo'd every render software.
(keyshot,maxwell,vray)

As you see that metalic brushed look. It seems simpel but it's not.

We were on the point of purchasing keyshot, but we couldn't get this result. so tried vray then maxwell. Render times is not important to us. Quality is. So we started experimenting with maxwell. We also bought VTC course on maxwell on material creation ect.

The results we get it too metalic, like an industrial metal. We do use hdr lighting.

Can anybody help me get this look with any of the software? Vray, maxwell or keyhot, it does not matter. It's not that we can't use or are stupid, but we don't understand what is the missing ingredient to those renders?

Is there here anyone who can achieve those results? We are ready to buy any of the render softwares to get that look.

Most of the time we get that "metalic real look like on a photo". We want this look.

Thanks everybody in advance who will help us!

Don't worry... it is simple.

Don't turn on GI... you don't need it right now.
(you don't need to slow down rendering for test)

- Make default Vray material
- turn on reflection (change color from black to white)
Now, here is the trick.
- download this image and in that same vray material, place it on the environment slot (you'll find it under the maps), and make sure you change from "explicit mapping" to spherical environment.
So, we basically used that image as an fake enviroonment.

Render, and you will get something like this:

So, this is a start.. from there... you go on, and make further details.
For white silver, try to make diffuse color white.
If you want to boost up environment reflection more, just go in the environment map, and go down, and increase "RGB level" parameter.

Here, I'll attach you 3DS Max 2011 file.
