Rant: Motion Clip Creation is SLOOOW... :(

You know, I hate to rant, but then again I will; cuz the deadline of the project at hand is looming on me and creating motion clips in C4D just takes forever... Although I go ahead and choose which objects to include in the clip, it goes through each and every piece inside the hierarchy, regardless of what I choose... For a 250 frame motion clip creation, I have been sitting here for an hour and a half, and I have like 20+ more to go with. I mean, why?? Why would they design this thing to go ahead and bake every channel, instead based on what I know, the non linear system is supposed to interpolate the values as is... And even if they thought baking the channels was the way to go, why would they not work on streamlining the baking process... Baking inside of C4D is the slowest I've seen, period, either while creating Motion clips or just plain old baking... I dunno... Cuz either way, I am simply grueling away at this thing and am really, really pissed off... (biting finger nails)

My 2 cents;

AJ
