Here you are!

I may be a simple man, but that perspective match tool is what I've been waiting for!

Strange, i remember many 3ds Max related Autodesk personell at least by the name, but this Chris Vienneau ("Director Of Product Managment") is a total unknown to me ... Maybe he is exactly the guy responsible for all those directionless and questionable product decisions ....

Chris Vienneau has been around for a while and was over the Maya/Composite/Combustion/etc Product line manager (similar position to what Ken held, but over Maya and desktop compositing side side of things, I think). With the restructuring it appears he moved into a new role.

"why are we spending all this money on reactor licenses!!! lets get rid of it!"

"but boss, we having nothing with which to replace it"

"Nevermind that! we list the NEW features, not the ones we have taken away. lets change the UI and make it prettier and give em some "Stylised" effects for the viewport!"

"but boss we haven't finished CAT, it just doesn't work with the 64-bit version...At all..."

"Doesn't matter! by the time they realise its a piece of shit they will have already bought it! Cash is King!"

All of that stuff happened before he moved into the new role. He was Maya Product and Product Line Manager before moving into the new role. Now Cory Mogk over sees the Maya, XSI, Composite, ECS, and not sure what else as the Product/Product Line manager.

You should really spend 10-30 minutes doing some research before jumping to conclusions.

I agree, I hope that isn't going to stick. The narrator they've used for the new feature videos, for a while now, is pretty cool though.

I don't know to whom you are referring but I made no conclusions. You have also repeated yourself.

Looks like the 2014 help is online also, if you know how to dig through their urls. Much more info there and a few hidden things that some users have asked for.

To Sidow who is making assumptions of how things happen.

Interesting how the best video there is the one trying to sell me a completely different product. I find it infuriating that the main focus these days seems aimed at upselling rather than taking care of people who are already giving Autodesk hundreds of dollars every year. It's really rather insulting. Due to the restructuring I pretty much expected this to be a thin release. What few new features are there look decent but it's not enough to make me want to pay the harsh penalty to get back on subscription. I really hope they start to get it together and blow our socks off next year.

Yes! that's right, my post was very serious boys and girls. So I hope you marked my words and marked them well!

"10-30 minutes research?" Why? It would be a complete waste of time. You think the research you do is accurate? Do you know why they SUDDENLY dropped reactor? (they had years to develop their own) of course you don't. Only a few people at Autodesk know the real reason and its not like such information is going to be at our disposal. Which is why it can be fun to create hypothetical scenarios, because they might actually be true!
