Dynamesh - is there a way to separate parts of the mesh which have become melded?

Hi everyone, I'm working on a model using dynamesh. I re-dynameshed the logo and his toes became stuck together, is there a way to separate them again? here is an image of the problem;

If you can't go back in the undo history, you can e.g. subtract geometry from your model. Select the InsertCube tool and hold down the ALT key while creating it between two toes. Scale it so it will subtract the interspace between the two toes, then re-dynamesh.

It might be better to pull the toe apart a bit while working with dynamesh. You can then pull them back together when you are done using dynamesh.

You can also increase the dynamesh resolution to avoid this kind of welding.
