maya vs max in studio environment

Hi there,

I don't want to start the discussion of which package is best. It seems an endless discussion. I was just wondering, what are peoples experiences with working with either software as concerns working together with a few artists on one large scene? I came across this article (http://lesterbanks.com/2012/08/auto...assembly-tools/) which would lean more to maya, but I have found little info in this respect to max.

Any advice or insights are very welcome!

thanks in advance

For VFX - maya. For games max. For archviz - max. It's more to do with tradition, also based on a studio\company, what they use. Some model for games in maya, some make viz in maya.
