Hdri rendering and shadow catcher problem

Hi to all...
Its my first post here so i wish a happy new year to all.

I recently tried to make my first 3d model with a 2d background rendering using the mached HDRI image for a light source. (lightwave 3d)

The main problem is that the polygon that i use to catch the shadow under the 3d model takes color from the HDRI img and i can't match it to the background img by changing luminosity and difuse.

I olso tried to play with gamma on hdri ans backgroun images and still no good results.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Can't you turn off "receive Final Gather" under the render stats of the ground plane?
