toothbrush animation

does anyone know how to make something like this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Bit-mvccVfM#!

what I need exactly is how to make the brush react with the teeth, using max 2012 so no reactor.
is it even possible with MassFX?

Try Flex or FFD modifiers istead of a simulation with MassFX.
Can't see the video though(blocked in Germany), so it's just a guess.

yeah FFD was my backup plan, but I really want some more detail in the animations
tried flex but can't seem to get it to do what I want
do you maybe remember a good tutorial about for making brushes or something like that?

Try a hair or cloth sim.

it generates the hairs randomly as I understand and I need the brushes in specific spots and groups on a toothbrush, unless there is a way to do that?

sure. Just make disks with specific colours and the hairs will spawn on the disks with defined regularity and will adopt the colours of the surface.

You can also use splines to dictate their positions if you need to.

Please read the manual before assuming anything. You may control the spawn and direction and even comb it if needed.
