An amazing entry for the contest, this image is pure JOY!! Also cleverly mystical and remids me of really old disney cartoons(the tree family in particular).. It is wonderful to look at an image with so many funny characters and yet a harmoniuos single feeling.

Ah, how cute. I love the colors and I like how some of the elemental creatures have a slight Disney styling to them (like the cloud creature (from that one Pixar short film), the male and female trees (from an early Disney cartoon), and the rock creature (not Disney, but reminds me of a similar creature in the movie "Never Ending Story"). It's a very happy piece with lots of colors (without being gaudy or overly bright), and a strong cohesiveness even with so many elements and characters to the piece (which is quite a feat). The expressions on your characters are well done adn show a great range of emotions and facial expressions (you have a strong animation foundation). Probably my only real criticism is that this format doesn't make the image big enough for easier viewing. This would look awesome at poster size (like for a major league children's/family movie). All in all, I love how this turned out. There's something for the eye to look at, travel to and admire. Definitely a keeper for your portfolio. Keep it up. Great job.

The more I look at this the more I think it should be in the choice gallery. They haven't put anything new there in awhile.
