The Pirate Shark, Philip Herman (3D)

Title: The Pirate Shark
Name: Philip Herman
Country: Indonesia
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, ZBrush

Hi guys, this is my latest artwork. Another cartoony style piece inspired by Xavier Houssin's design. I have asked his permission to make it into 3d version. He was pleased with my proposal, and i hope he will be delighted with the final result. Anyway, I had great fun working on this character and i hope you guys enjoy this one too. Comments, feedback and critics are always welcome. Thanks

It's a really fun image overall but I really have to single out the ship's wood detail for being such an interesting combination of realistic and cartoonish at the same time. Kudos!

Everything about this image is splendid.
however the HDR in the eyes doesn't really match the rest of the scene, I'd probably take down the reflectivity a little, and it might blend better.

Great work!
