Silo 2.2 question

Does Silo have smoothing groups yet ie:3ds Max or hard/soft edge normals ie Maya? This is the key thing that's preventing me from using Silo as part of my modeling pipeline. If not, is there any plan to implement this function?

And I know about edge creasing and its not the same thing and doesn't help with low poly modeling.

oops, sorry

sorry about the triple post. My connection kept giving me an incomplete error message but I guess it was actually going through when I was re-posting.

It doesn't, not cool at all, but thats life!
Such feature wont be implemented, because silo is not under development anymore.
If you need your models for use in game engines, you can use:
Unwrap3D to create smoothing groups (based on selection or angle)
Unity 3D, in the import settings you can set the smoothing angle

dirty workaround: in silo you can select the piece that needs to have hard edges and break it apart from the rest of the mesh (modify > break), actually thats the same method unwrap or unity uses.
